Project \u201cTime To Talk\u201d aims to address the problem of the lack of organizations in the Prefecture of Drama that work with the perpetrators of gender-based violence. Furthermore, it aims to provide more effective support to victims of gender-based violence. Finally, it seeks to address the lack of information regarding the developing issue of new emerging forms of gender-based violence in the Cyberspace, for example cyber stalking.<\/p>\n
The goal of the project is to promote equality, to prevent and combat the phenomenon of gender-based violence, as well as its deeper causes through working with the perpetrator, the sensitization and awareness-raising of university students and adolescents about the new forms of online abuse.<\/p>\n
The target groups of \u201cTime To Talk\u201d are the perpetrators of gender-based violence, the victims, as well as the adolescents, their professors and university students.<\/p>\n
The Norwegian organization \u201cAlternative to Violence\u201d provides expert training to LDU-HOH regarding counseling services for perpetrators and Ladies Union of Drama (LDU-HOH) provides counseling services to the perpetrators of gender-based violence. In addition, LDU-HOH provides training regarding more effective aid for the victims of gender-based violence and support to them. Moreover, educational activities are implemented for adolescents and professors, through which they are informed and sensitized about the new forms of gender-based violence in the Cyberspace in order to be able to prevent it. Furthermore, a panhellenic university research is conducted on students, concerning the new emerging forms of gender-based violence in the Cyberspace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
