Specifically, \u201cFriends of the Child\u201d covers food, clothing, rents and bills for families in housing risk, psychological and counseling support, entertainment, and medical care. Children with health problems are a high priority for our social program.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017,\u00a0<strong>250\u00a0families and 400 children<\/strong>\u00a0were benefitted.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2007, we operate our proprietary daycare<strong>\u00a0center<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>which is situated\u00a0<\/strong><strong>in<\/strong>\u00a0Kerameikos (Calypsous Street, 8).<strong>\u00a025 children<\/strong>\u00a0from families in need participate every year in the daily educational activities. The nursery covers complete feeding, clothing, personal hygiene, medical care and the parental educational level improvement. A place of physical and mental development full of love and affection, which helps them realize human relations, escape from domestic violence, neglect and growth failure.<\/p>\n<p>The financial resources come exclusively from membership fees, contributions, donations, in-kind sponsorships and income by recreational event participants.
