Active citizens fund announces the 22 new projects of the programme

22 projects will be funded across Greece, in support of the promotion of gender equality, the combat of gender-based violence and the development of platforms and networks among NGOs (CSOs).

Bodossaki Foundation and SolidarityNow, under their capacity as the Fund Operator of the EEA Grants Active citizens fund programme in Greece, are pleased to announce the names of the civil society organisations that have been selected to receive funding through the EEA Grants financial mechanism in support of civil society in Greece, amounting to € 12m.

The total amount of funding available under the open calls for proposals is € 1.505.400.
More specifically, € 1.005.400 is allocated for the call “Gender equality promoted and Gender-Based Violence combatted” and € 500.000 is allocated for the call “Platforms and Networks among NGOs (CSOs) developed”.

Overview and results of call 5: “Gender equality promoted and Gender-Based Violence combatted”

The total amount available for funding under this call is € 1.005.400. In total, 89 applications were submitted under this call.
A total of 11 projects will be funded (2 large projects, 6 medium projects and 3 small projects).
Out of the 11 projects selected, 3 projects have a donor project partner (2 from Norway and 1 from Iceland).

The total amount available for funding under this call is € 500.000. In total, 74 applications were submitted under this call.
A total of 11 projects will be funded (6 medium projects and 5 small projects). One project has a donor project partner from Iceland.
