Cyberno is a non-profit Organization that covers the problem of digital illiteracy in Greece providing social education to teachers, parents and children aiming to the development of the children’s digital skills. Its vision is to empower every citizen with digital skills, to develop an intelligent society, starting today with the creation of digitally gifted children.

Its mission is to develop within the next 10 years in every child aged 8 to 12 years in the Greek territory the technical, social, and mental skills needed in order to be able to distinguish himself as a user in digital media and become an intelligent digital citizen.

The beneficiaries of Cyberno are:

  • Children (students) of age 8 to 12 years old from third to sixth preliminary grade of public and private schools in Greece where their schools are interested in educating them in digital skills development.
  • Educators (teachers) who work in public or private schools respectively and are interested in teaching their school students and their colleagues (train the trainer) about digital skills development.
  • Parents of 8 to 12 years old children who are interested in being informed on digital skills.
  • Vulnerable groups such as children, teenagers, youth who need support and want to be educated on digital skills.

 

Our educational program is based on three sectors: Digital literacy, Emotional resilience, Parental control and Digital Science.
